08:00 – 10:00 Vilnius city tour with coffee break.
10:00 Transfer to Trakai.
11:00 – 12:30 Trakai – Lithuanian capital of Grand Duchy Lithuania, nestled in a picturesque region of lakes, forests and hills 25 km from Vilnius, includes a visit to Trakai Castle, the spectacular complex of defensive fortifications of the 15 century erected on the island in the lake Galve. Today it houses the Historical and Applied art Museum with an ethnographical ecposition of Karaites, the small ethnic minority living in Trakai till nowadays. Visiting ancient freighter „Vytine“.
12:30 – 13:30 Transfer to Pazaislis monastery.
13:30 – 14:30 Lunch at the restaurant MONTE PACIS.
14:30 – 15:00 Short tour to MONTE PACIS hospitality complex and Pazaislis monastery (without entrance to the Monastery ).
15:00 – 15:15 Transfer to Kaunas – the second largest city of Lithuania.
15:15 - 16:15 Kaunas city tour: the 13 th century castle, lovely Town Hall of Kaunas, known as „White Swan“. Town Hall square, the 14th century church of Vytautas, Cathedral-Basilica, Perkunas House, pedestrian „Freedom Avenue“ - the town‘s main shopping place .
16:15 – 17:15 Transfer to Birstonas.
17:15 – 20:30 SPA site inspection in Birstonas.

Day 2. 20 of September BIRSTONAS – DRUSKININKAI - VILNIUS

10:30 – 11:45 Further driving to Druskininkai.
11:45 – 12:45 Short city tour . The pride of the Druskininkai is it‘s mineral springs. In 1794 the king of Poland and Lithuania announced a decree officially, designating Drauskininkai as a health resort. However, it became a health resort only after I.Fornberg, proffessor of Vilnius Univercity, investigated the spring water and advised the Czar government should establish a resort in the area ( 1837).
