Jurmala is the biggest resort of Baltic States, located only 25 km away from Riga. The resort is famous for its almost 30 km long sandy beach flamed by dunes and pine forests. 9.40 – 11.30 Kemeri National Park
Ķemeri National Park was established in 1997 to protect nature and historical objects, as well as mineral water springs and healing mud. Ķemeri National Park is the first protected nature area in Latvia that has been granted the European sustainable tourism charter.
Rare and endangered plant species and rare European birds such as White-tailed eagle, eagle-owls, black storks and cranes, as well as different rare animals can be found in Ķemeri National Park.
12.00-12.30 Kurshi hotel
In 2014 new design hotel Kurshi HOTEL is opened in Jurmala. The guests is offered 35 hotel rooms or 4 apartments to relax and regain their strength.
The name of Kurshi HOTEL is derived from the Couronians - one of the ancient Baltic tribes that inhabited almost all western territory of Latvia thousand years ago, reaching also the present-day city of Jurmala.

Museum has a lot of exhibits that tell about life in the resort from the beginning of the 19th century till nowadays, widest collection of swimsuits in Latvia, old postcards of Jūrmala, works of famous artists, pieces of underwater archaeology, as well as souvenir shop. Permanent exposition "History of Rīgas Jūrmala and Ķemeri resorts". The exposition shows important milestones of city's development: photos, documental and household objects.

15.10 – 15.40 Dzintari concert hall
The large concert hall with 2024 seats was to be one of the first open-type concert halls in Latvia and the applied acoustic and constructional solution was among the best. There are no walls and the space merges with the surrounding Jurmala dune park.
Dzintari concert hall was reconstructed and renovated from 2004 - 2006. The stage of hall was rebuilded with special acoustic elements - rhombs from the glass and transforming stage platform. Now it has 5 levels which are useful for symphonic, choral and jazz music concerts.
