Vilnius sightseeing tour includes the major sites of the old town – Gediminas Castle and the main church of Vilnius Cathedral Basilica, the oldest street in the old town - Pilies street with original buildings ranging from 14th to 19th century, Gothic architecture ensemble - St. Anne's, Bernardines, St. Michael's churches, the 16th century Gates of Dawn that originally formed part of the town fortifications, with the holy image of the Virgin Mary that is very famous in the religious community because of the legendary miracles that were performed with the help of this icon.

Trakai – a small town 28 km from Vilnius, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, located in a picturesque lakeside area is one of the most popular tourist attractions of the country. The historical part of the town conserved the ruins of Peninsula Castle, the authentic heritage of small ethnic group Karaites living in Trakai and of course the top must see site – the famous insular Castle on the lake, the original gothic style architectural monument from the end of the XIV century, a historical Museum of Trakai nowadays. Visiting the Castle will make you feel like going back to ancient times.

Kaunas - Vilnius

08:30-11:00 Kaunas City tour, visiting M. K. Čiurlionis
Kaunas (Kovna), the second largest city of Lithuania, is located 100 km from Vilnius. It served as the provisional capital in 1939- 1940. Tour starts with the excursion of the old town including the remains of the 13th century Castle, Town hall, continue through town hall square to Vytautas church built by Grand Duke Vytautas as one of the first brick castles in the 14th century, a further stop at Kaunas Cathedral Basilica, famous for baroque interior, then continuation to pedestrian street - Freedom avenue. The tour of Kaunas continues with a visit to M.K.Ciurlionis State Art museum. M.K. Ciurlionis was the most famous Lithuanian painter and composer. Many claim that Ciurlionis was the inventor of abstract art.
